About us

We are a team of architects and engineers, some of them university lecturers, led by Ramón Argüelles Álvarez, Member of the Royal Academy of Engineering and Emeritus Professor of Structural Design at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM).
We are pioneers in the sector: we have been developing structural design programs since 1980, initially for steel and concrete and later for steel and timber.
Alongside the development of these programs, we have produced highly regarded publications such as:

In addition, we have been experts in delivering specialised courses on steel and timber structures to professional associations of architects and engineers since 1990. We currently continue to run courses on demand for both professional associations and companies.
