Increased number of cases in which mechanisms are detected
Improved import of DXF files. Arcs and circles in any position in space can be imported, as well as polylines made up of straight segments.
Option to print or not print the notes in the General Data report
Calculation of shear stresses in steel sections
For crane runway beams, the number is increased to 6. An option is added to indicate which column carries the greater load, and the data of one overhead crane can be copied to another.

In the case of Metalpla LT, not all options are available, as it is a reduced version of the program and very easy to use.

Internal calculation of class 4 effective sections

For I-sections that have not been classified directly in the tables, the program analyses them internally and, depending on the forces they receive, classifies them according to the provisions of the CTE. If a section turns out to be class 4, the program calculates the effective section based on the stress distribution it receives in the load combination analysed, and uses its effective resistance properties (area and section modulus) in the calculations.
